Pretty darn good recap of a pretty crappy year...

  The Story We all had plans for 2020. And then COVID-19 happened. I'm still trying to find my footing. You're not alone. Nearly a year ago, life as we knew it began to change. From  work  to  school  to  home , almost every aspect of daily life took a hit. But as the world continues to navigate these unprecedented times, it's also important to reflect on how we got here. Because trust us, you'll want to be able to tell your grandkids wtf happened. Ok. Remind me. Around this time last year, we started hearing about a pneumonia-like illness that began  infecting  people in Wuhan, China. Many early cases were linked to a wet market there. And Chinese authorities soon started reporting dozens of cases of people experiencing a fever, cough, and trouble breathing. A Covid Christmas

Nothing about this year has gone as planned... yet, I try and make the most of it. We watched Christmas Eve service at home... NOT FUN! I was going to light candles during the candle lighting portion but my child wasn't having it. I walked the dogs... Christmas morning was at least peaceful... Then the games began after 9am... He finally opened his gaming PC and could not have been more excited.  Holt hooked it up and I set up accounts. I wish I could say it was a smooth transition and WHY I didn't pay one of my friends to set it up before I wrapped it is beyond me! He's hugging his monitor from Bumpa! Grammy and I FaceTimed... Trooper even made his debut.... Then he was finally rocking and rolling!  We FaceTimed with Aunt Jeanne so she was the first to see the new set up! Then we quietly prayed together and celebrated Jesus' birthday.  We gave thanks for what we have and we prayed to see our family in 2021 and for the Lord to walk with us. We went down and saw the kids...
