Oh if we only knew what was coming.  Sunday was such a nice afternoon and Monday - 2am all hell broke loose. We lost power at 2am so when I woke up at 6am, I knew something was "off" - my nose was cold and my high vaulted ceilings were freezing. Played a little and then jumped in the car to warm up! Finally Holt got my car free from the garage!  TWO tanks of gas available!!  PRAISE GOD WE HAD SOME FORM OF HEAT!!! On Monday afternoon the May's called and basically chewed me out and told me to pack T up and come stay with them.  I cannot express the guilt, I planned to drop T and whether the storm with Holt.  Ice started coming and the roads were gettin...

Well, this year was harder... Tristan you are older and the cute little things don't work anymore. Pretty sure you'd rather I slap a $20 on the table and be done! But I wasn't having it!! This one doesn't get "personal space" he's lucky he's cute! And then this weirdo... WHO WATCHES TV LIKE THAT!?!?! Big tough guy that's who!! Gifts were ready for V-Day He now has the whole seal family and I have to tell you they are SO COMFORTABLE and SOFT! The new seal even has a heart on his side!  What are the chances??? And Baylor gave him a photo of the two of them.  I think he liked that best. You just can't tell by that cheesy smile... Little did we know that tomorrow... well... tomorrow all hell would break loose!! 2021 is really giving 2020 a run for it's money!!

D-TOWN 2021

Well, T's a man of few words but I know he had fun... D-TOWN is the greatest kid event and the kids FLIP for it.  In a weird year, our church STILL pulled it off!!! Friday 5:30pm - 10:30pm Fun, games, candy, all the things!! Saturday morning kickball game (they won!) Then hours playing games at Wennings house... Home for a rest and back to church for games, fun, carnival rides and craziness! He's happy to be home, happy to have slept in and I am SO thankful for our church. They build into these kids, I need to volunteer more, lighten their load so they can do more of this!! Thank you, Thomas and Clayton!! (sorry Ty and Preston have Covid!)  You guys pulled it off!!!
