The Adventures of Tristan

 I love our (almost) annual tradition of this concert.  The kids get bored but it's SO FUN for the adults, they can suffer a little.  But, they do have the freedom to run around some - and we let them just go for it. Sherry was sick so Kaki and Trey came with us... reindeer pictures... Slushies and candy and sitting alone... they liked it and the stage... and singing Kaki pretends she hates them... but, she doesn't!! and yes, yes I did spend $15 so they could have a snowball fight!! Great night with great friends!!

Gonna be a hard one for Holt and his family... doing my best to bring cheer and make it special for Tristan! Need a new tree topper!! Ours is broken so borrowing a Santa hat! No mantle? No problem!! this reminds me of home - just need a little Hoopes Park! Lighting the path to upstairs T's room and my room! Here we go!  It's December! The RACK'ing has already begun!!

It's hard but we tried to be mindful... Probably my last year of doing it. Bums me out but I loved every second!

I am 100% ready for Christmas!! And this event seemed to be very much for "littles" but Tristan said he didn't care... and Davis just got into the spirit (they know I'm a Christmas nerd!!) even Holt was having fun! How cool is this???? we even found some snow! thankful that they make me happy and get Christmas goofy with me!!!

I bought T his own tree... and I'll get sports decorations when on sale... balls were close enough. then we took a break from technology and made his class gifts! Cute little socks in there. I'm sure the last time he will let me do anything like this forgot I bought this 4' tree last year works perfectly at the stair landing and the stockings always get pulled from the fireplace for fear of melting... so I made this! now to get everything on timers. Can't wait to get Buddy the Elf up outside! LOL

After Grandparent's Day... we went shopping! AND WE SAW SANTA!! I sooo wanted this t-shirt! And Connie (Oliver) found HER STORE (Otis, her dog!!) Redskins vs. Cowboys All in all, I didn't break the bank (which was hard) - almost finished my shopping AND had fun!!

Stinks that my family is so far... I know they would love to be at this stuff!! So thankful Bebah gets to be here!! Happy Grandparent's Day to Bebah, Grampa Sam, Grammy and Bumpa
