The Adventures of Tristan

 Well, it's been a weekend!  Friday night we went to the country club with the Gadoci's ... we ate large and chatted for a couple of hours.  Great night! Saturday, 3pm Easter service at Watermark  Saturday afternoon I mentioned not getting Easter decs up this year (they are buried behind Christmas and my arm is blown out) and Tristan was NOT happy about not having his Easter basket or hunting eggs. "MOM... NO EGGS FOR ME TO FIND?  COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" So, I promptly got back in my car and drove to the grocery store to get more food so I could feed Ruth Ann and Holt... and then off to Wal-Mart to buy stuff for eggs! He was miserable getting up this morning... (maybe don't get to bed at 1:30am!) But he had gifts to open, eggs to hunt and needed to get in the shower! Baylor loved her squeaky lamb! He struggled to wake up! Off to brunch we went with Tippi and the Sedberry boys When you can't be home with family... you find family where you are! Thanks for inviti...

 I don't really get this dance... but everyone dresses up like a cowboy/girl. Girls ask boys in 10th - 12th but for Freshman.. they just go as one big group. Tristan's worst nightmare is buttons and jeans... oh and a dance! He survived and apparently had a great time! I will update with all of the group photos once I see them and there are only decent at the event ... 8 of them slept at my house that night... I forgot to get pics, but it was 1 am and I was tired! Next year, he may get asked by a girl and I have a note... REMEMBER BOOT CUT JEANS!  OOPS!

 I don't know how but you saved yourself.  B average... Cum Laude. It's a hard school and I know that... but you also haven't been studying, going to be waaaaay too late... and I'm trying to shut my mouth but it's hard! Praying your final grades for this year pick up so your GPA is at least an A. Not sure it's possible at this point and you are doing well but I KNOW you could be great!!

T had his last Varsity soccer game. He couldn't play much because he had been so sick (and then gave it to me...) I volunteered to help with Senior Night balloons... I still don't know how they did this! The boys ready to play and our great friends the Fitzgerald's sending their senior off...  WELL DONE JOSEPH!! What a joy it was to watch him play T had to miss the playoff game because he was off to Steamboat with the Rhodes family Pretty sure he was having the time of his life with 1/2 his grade and best friends T and Co WIPE OUT!!! Flying over a mogul... Now my butt hurts! Night skiing - he hit the rails!  NIIIIICE!! When I print the book you can't see pics... this is what he did He felt really far... first trip without me or Holt but he looooved Steamboat If I get more pics I will add them. He wasn't communicating at all with me or Holt.  Good lesson you are about to learn son, do what your parents ask, it helps with future trips... that you probably won't be...

 Who knew my mom had THOUSANDS of pictures!!!  But she does! And not only did I find my LQ Triple Crown standings...  I found my favorite YAYA picture!!

 So very thankful that Unkie and Aunt Sue came up to see Tristan play.  He played the whole game... defense seems to be his jam - but he wants to be up front.   We'll see.. is he a Tracy or a Julie... TBD

Saying goodbye was hard... but there were small moments Saw some of my Buffalo Bengal soccer girls... And we let Don have a Manhattan And I hugged my best friend - A LOT And we laughed and did stupid crap... and embarrassed Timmy! This is the smile I will remember Then I flew to my mom's and spent hours looking at old family photos I'll let Bob in ONE picture... Only becuase Nick & Louise, Catrina and Greg.. and you. My young mama! Baby Julie!! And Triple Crown Julie and Kelly Garth, Heather and Adam at church! and then with Grandma and Grandpa Ross then younger me... maybe 7? I don't know... Baby Julie and I'm probably 4 or 5 here...  Prom with Brad Leader (who is now on drugs and homeless - ugh) and sissy with Pre-Crud Bear Me and Milo... hahahahahaha and proof that Tristan made Varsity soccer before I did ... I was a sophmore. And while I was away... T was having a blast... and that makes my heart happy Life is hard. Life is beautiful. Life is short. Make the mos...
