Well, that was expensive... but it was worth it!! Rooms filled with fun, candy and A TON of talent!! This is how we started things off... that lion is 100% candy. INSANE TALENT! ROOTBEER CANDY MANE. WHAAAAAT!!! Some of the kiddos... It was loud and the little Quisenberry was not happy! Thumbs up to these two cuties!! Run T! It's a candy shark!!!! 100% candy - again, WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?! hot tamales and jelly beans not only did they see candy... they ate it. In EVERY room! Marshmallow man!!! The two Grayson's - LOL Just proving I was there!! Me, Tracy and Dana... we could have been in the TROLLS MOVIE!! I have NO IDEA how to get this confetti out of my hair! Hahahahahaha
Happy Easter 2019
Baskets are much harder and much more expensive as they grow!! But he liked it. I even got him a new tray for lunch in his room some days. He really likes that on "down days" Baylor wanted her toys..and donuts! I found him food dividers for his dinner plate - he was SO happy and said FINALLY!! Then we headed to church- I served in coffee... he went with Grayson The Mays snagged some pictures of us... and I don't like them because I don't like what I look like - but I cherish the memory!! I hope everyone had a great Easter and that you felt His presence in your day! HAPPY EASTER!!
Easter Eve
He's 10. Going on 20. He's not a baby anymore and I know it. But when he tells me he still wants to hunt eggs... I'm in. It doesn't take as long and I know he's in it for the candy and the money - but wasn't he always? He even said "where would my SMART mom hide the eggs!?" Wait, you think I'm smart? AWESOME! (Probably just wants an extra buck - ha!) Bumpa sent Bunny farts (cotton candy) and bunny boogers (candy) all the way from NY! Big hit! Grammy spoiled him with a card and Boston money! (Slipped in a great reminder too!) And the hunt began... Baylor helped too He squealed when he found one. I laughed and was SO thankful for this moment. These moments are EVERYTHING to me. and I decided to do this fun today - because tomorrow is church. The REAL reason we celebrate and I want to really focus on that. Saying goodbye to Kimberly
This was a tough one. You don't really take photos at a celebration of life or a funeral. I mean, at mine I hope people do because quite frankly I hope it's a party FOR TRISTAN... not me. I hope he is loved on, celebrated and knows he has a family long after I'm gone. I don't want a bunch of sadness or tears... better yet - let's skip all of that and just have some funny stories. Hopefully, the really juicy ones go to the grave with me. LOL But we did go. And we didn't make T wear buttons... instead he got to choose and that is EXACTLY what Kim would have wanted. Davis looked SO snazzy though! The service was beautiful... and very formally which quite frankly worked in my favor because I didn't shed many tears.
