Happy Mother's Day Mama!

I am so thankful that my mom was here to spend Mother's Day!!

Holt bought us chairs to watch T play - and they rock!!  I think she may try and bring these back to NY!!

I bought some tickets for a fun surprise.  It was such a beautiful day but I couldn't help it - this is like a family musical for us and I knew she would love it!!

We saw a bunch of footage never seen before which made it even MORE fun!!

This Mother's Day is not lost on me. It's a blessing.  It's a HUGE blessing that I still have my mom. I could have lost her last year and I would be filled with despair missing her like the kids miss Kim.  It is NOT lost on me.

I want to soak up every second, I want to find the good in the day and embrace it. I want to fully live. And in the midst of the "ick", I do.  My mom has always been a soft place to land. She gets me. We are SO different, but yet she loves me and accepts me for who I am.  She expects me to be a good human but she never gripes at me - just encourages.

My mom finds joy in every day. She doesn't walk in sadness about what she doesn't have - she finds joy in what she does. She's kind and she's patient. She loves her family will all that she is.  She's humble - she's amazing.  And it is NOT lost on me how blessed I am that God chose ME to be her daughter.

Wish I took more pictures, wish I spent hours telling her all the reasons I love her.  Thankfully I still have time.

You are the BEST Mom, thank you for always, always, ALWAYS cheering me on. I love you!  I hope you had a Happy Mother's Day!!
