Fun weekend and new family

 Again, posted to the wrong blog.  oops!


Well, I forgot to post last week... then a new computer pretty much soaked up every spare second this week!

This dog is SO cute but man he keeps us on our toes!  He's HUGE!  62.5 lbs and he just turned 5 months old!!


poor pup has had SO MANY skin allergies!! Thankfully new cousin Kelly is a vet!


We got to celebrate Trey's birthday and embarrass him a little! Why do I enjoy that so much?

She's a lot like me... which is interesting... she's my Dad's brother Rusty's daughter!  So much to learn about my family!!



and to have a vet in the family!!  Are you kidding me!  I can even go watch a surgery!




Excited for the good things to come!

2020 has SUCKED... but praying 2021 is MUCH better!!

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Very cool all the history in this German town!! I told Tristan it was a "YES WEEKEND" and I would say yes to anything he asked (within reason) and he made the most of it! Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
