Soccer with an ear infection is no fun BUT we'll stick it out so there can be singing and Twizzlers!!

The other capsule - comes filled with sand / earth from an area in the world we are helping to protect. A reminder to stay connected to the endangered places and species around the world.

He loved the seal from Christmas so much, Grammy got him a big fat older brother!!

Money came flying in from Aunt Kelly & Uncle Lee and Zach and Solara. Zach said from one spoiled kid to another!  So much truth in that!!

Friday had money flying in the door again from Bumpa.  TOO SPOILED!!

Then, Sunday we had 6 boys over. We played with the new soccer goal I got him, ate pizza, candy and they ran around the neighborhood. 





 We jetted off to play Escape Room - Jail Break- and WE ESCAPED (but it was hard!!

and so you know, there are adults that can't do that room!!!


We came back for more running around, buntlets and then ran off to drop kids home and pick up Benihana!  It was a great day!!

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Very cool all the history in this German town!! I told Tristan it was a "YES WEEKEND" and I would say yes to anything he asked (within reason) and he made the most of it! Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
