Oh the weirdness... and drama that abounds

Well, let's see...

Played an awesome team entering the Dallas Cup (from Cali) and gave them a run for their money...

So proud of them!

Then on April Fool's Day... woke up to this...

Bad day for it because I had to get to work and the lawn guys were there.

Holt was NOT happy.  T found it amusing until he had to go and pick it all up!!

GOOD TIMES!

Then I had Easter prep to do...

and getting him up to open was tricky!

BUT alas, candy, dog toys, a chopper, and donuts win!

money from Grammy helped too!

Sadly, Easter was a big fat bust!

We were at Bebah's letting the dogs run around and just as I was about to take them back home:

I was letting the dogs run around back .. like we do EVERY holiday/time we are there. I was getting ready to put them in my car to bring them back to the house, before everybody got there. Ruth Ann came outside and T told her to go back inside because we were putting the dogs up. She came out to me and told me not to leave and said that the dogs could stay. I told her "no" and that locking them out back they would just scratch her door and chip the paint off. And then she hollered, "the dogs are fine!" And literally, I turned around and Trooper was running towards her, so I said "Trooper COME!", and he started running towards me. I think she thought he was coming towards her and tried to bend forward, kind of bracing herself but when she did that she was top-heavy and she literally fell forward and didn’t even try to catch herself. Her face just hit the concrete. It was terrifying.

After 4 hours in the ER and 5 stitches, she was home.

UGH. SUCKY EASTER.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Last night I started training Trooper around the soccer fields. Tough because he just wants to get out and play and he's strong!  So slowly but surely he's getting used to commands and the car!!!

He makes me smile through it all...

And this was a special little surprise.  T gets a fever... off we go for COVID testing.  Good times!

What a few days we have had!!!
