What a week

 Well, I'm gearing up for all of the Brits and ELT... 

and of course, it's a busy social season for my child!!

Al's 25th party didn't go as planned... buuuut it happened! 

Still can't believe we've worked together for 17 years!



Tristan was off celebrating G's 15th birthday.  Can't believe they are 15 and will be driving soon!!

T better hit the gym... those boys are all about to smoke you!!


Then they needed some service hours so after a sleepover, they were hitting coffee ministry hard!


I was so proud of them, they killed it!



Kel and Lee were off to Cali... and look at these cute family pics!

Just miss them all so much!

Mom/Son trip for 2020 and 2021 combined... look out Fredericksburg, here we come!

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Very cool all the history in this German town!! I told Tristan it was a "YES WEEKEND" and I would say yes to anything he asked (within reason) and he made the most of it! Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
