The Adventures of Tristan

 I cannot believe you are 16 Grayson Alexander May!! Weren't we JUST here with the G and T show!?!?!?! Joint Bday photo is all I have of their party... October 20th was a big day Grayson turned 16 Holt turned 52 Xander Hill turned 15 Alice turned 9 and Steve Smithgall... you just turned OLDER... Oh and Kamala Harris turned 60! What a day 10/20 is!! Happy Birthday G - we love you!

  Laurie and her husband Sean were here for a wedding and we decided to meet up We haven't seen each other since we were about 12... there was a lot of catching up to do and Sean... poor guy, didn't even know I existed! Maybe it won't take us 35 years to see each other again! oh the stories I heard!!!

  Tristan really didn't want a date for HOCO.  Well, he probably wanted a date, he just didn't want the drama. He wanted Eve to go with a friend but after a rocky situation at a HOCO last year, her parents said "no more".  Unless it was Tristan. Fast forward... They've known each other since they were in Kindergarten together ... 5 to 15... I couldn't find a group photo without Grayson in it. Ironically, he turned 16 yesterday so it was cute to include him! Poor "Micon" got roped into helping... someone had to hold the sign, glad it wasn't me Jackson! and Brooke and I had some fun too! Love these two cuties so much and this photo is a tad cuter.. but the cup we had made wasn't turned around! Apparently ordering a matcha latte with almond milk was a challenge.  Oh to be a fly on that wall!! I was proud of him though.  He and Jackson ran errands, ate (he ate onions, don't even get me started on the lecture) and then grabbed what they needed...

  This is a good sign... I'm back home and she's all smiles! And this just wasn't a bad drive to the airport! There is nothing greater than seeing her safe... and happy Lee and I busted hump to get her in there, get her settled and make her happy! This was the day after we told her she was moving and she didn't fight us one bit But the day I arrived was hard. She didn't know I was coming.. but she thought I was Kelly  I guess it was good that she at least knew I was her daughter! I'm trying to prepare myself.  I know she won't know me soon. I'm clinging to every single memory that I can. Mom, every single decision is made from what you told me you wanted.  You are safe. You are in the place that you will live the rest of your life in.  You know we love you.  It's all we can ask for.   I love you so much Mama!!
