 And Deadra and Summer knock it out of the park! I arrived at work.. and I'm just minding my own when Deadra and Summer come flying around the corner with this... OH mercy... then at 7:30am... I get the card I'm holding and a Pinstack gift card!!  $200! WOW! 830am - a gift card for TOP GOLF for $200 - WHAAAAAAAAAT?  Look at their notes to me... 9:30am comes.... Jesus just gets me... 10:30am.. Al walks in with a HUGE box of Nothing Bunt Cakes!! These cards are KILLING ME!! Summer shows up with gifts from Steve Smithgall ... biggest prankster in our office.  Be careful when you zoom in.... it's a little racy - funny trumps mean!!! 11:30am these two take me out to EATELY for lunch! OMG it was to die for!! then we get back to the office and there are flowers for the 12:30pm gift! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?! At 1:30pm Deadra saunters over to to my desk and gives me another card and a $200 Amazon gift card! WHAT IS HAPPENING??? 2:00pm Summer gets sneaky and drops me this from he...

I can't admit how much I like my birthday.  Never have and I doubt I ever will. I don't like the attention really but I love being told I'm loved. Connie knocked it out of the park this weekend... We celebrated her 55th and my 50th at the Hilton Anatole. I brought a yummy Charcuterie board and food.. and of course.. the cocktails! and we watched movies and laughed the night away! The next day we took in all the local scenes at the hotel... (showing T she had an elephant experience too!) and a day of floating... and lounging...  (the scene of the drama!) Some sun and lots more chatting She just gets me.  She puts up with my annoying qualities and loves me anyone. She laughs, calls me out on my crap... and loves me like family I'm not sure HOW people make it through life without friends. I simply cannot.  You have walked me through some very dark days in these past 15 years and for that (and for a thousand OTHER things) I love you sooooo much CONNIE SUE OLIVER!!! HAPPY...

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Very cool all the history in this German town!! I told Tristan it was a "YES WEEKEND" and I would say yes to anything he asked (within reason) and he made the most of it! I said "no" to something he asked for and he didn't miss a beat... he stopped and said "What mom?  I couldn't hear you?" That face... u...
