The Adventures of Tristan

  Why these come in backwards now  - I'll never know. Regardless, here we go. YaYa 2022 is in the books.  We headed to Lisa's secret hideaway... Rosemary Beach in Florida.  It was BEAUITFUL! My plane was delayed 3 hours on Thursday so I finally gave up and went home but the girls all made it and quickly got acclimated. Poolsie and I had fun with the SnapChat Filter... there were SO many... but two of my faves... The "I Ain't doin' it" faces and ... we are the Kardashians! hahahahahaha stupid filters! This was the last night (out of two for me.. hahahahaha) and Lisa swore we would love the sunset.  Was she ever right.  But I learned... the lighting away from the sunset is even better. But that sunset... my gosh. And while the smiles were there.  So was the pain.  Debbie has finally reached her breaking point and knows she needs help.  It scares me to see what alcohol does to people. Especially someone I love. Friends since kindergarten... I ca...

 I have never been more proud of you Tristan You survived being really sick and messing up the start of school Still dealing with Covid Us moving and Dad and I getting divorced Cum Laude! WELL DONE!!!!!

 And just like that, my "baby" is driving s jet ski by himself! two happy (and I assume) very tired boys!

  He's growing up so fast!!

 End of year dodgeball.  Boys vs. boys and girls vs. girls... And guess what.. we have Grayson in a cast and Noah in a sling and they STILL won. Jackson, Brandon, Noah, Hunter, Tristan, Grant, Grayson, Jackson Adan CHAMPS BABY!

  The other day Sherry posted that Trey won a pair of pajamas at school and he was on stage receiving.  She was so proud of him, etc.  It was cute!  So I of course asked Tristan what it was... and he proceeds to say something like  T: I don't know, a bunch of us got called on stage, I won that too! Me: Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! Where are the pajamas??? T: oh I gave them away, G-Sed wanted them.   Me: So you just gave them to your friend? Yeah, Grayson has had a hard time and he wanted them so I gave them to him. All because he persevered... that's right T... it's not just me... they ALL SEE YOU!  Hard work pays off Tristan - well done!!! SERIOUSLY, I love this kid.  And I'm quietly annoyed because they were REINDEER PAJAMAS!!!

 I reminded myself MULTIPLE times that I PAID FOR THIS and this was MY idea !  I thought it was all zip lining.... nope, no it wasn't.  There was a little... but it was agility and a ropes course.  It was hard, fun and terrifying and a crazy workout.   These pictures don't do it justice! Locked and loaded.... I think we were 15 feet in the air and around 20 here... hitting course #16 I was never scared... well that's a lie.. the two jumps were terrifying! I don't like feeling out of control but I pushed myself.  And this kid cheered me the entire way! "Come on mom!  You've got this!  You are doing a great job! I'm proud of you!" over and over and over.. and he was fearless.  And so safe, I was seriously SO proud of him Walking tight ropes, chords, wobbly walkways, suspended tires, ropes, suspended bridges... he was AWESOME! This video is T bravely jumping 25 feet off of a perfectly good platform. It's a ropes course kind of like skiing....

 

  Sue and Davis came to Six Flags with us... haven't seen them in 2 years! Balfour chose the perfect place (for me) for the company picnic! We had a deal.. you take pics with characters and we pay for games! HA! WORKED! T FINALLY rode all of the big boy coasters and LOVED them!  I finally have a roller coaster kid! We even upgraded to season passes and now can go with more friends!   SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! (I may be in traction tomorrow BUT I had a blast!)
