Random awesomeness this week

G came over... and the boys put duck poop in the pool...


Y had a soccer game the next day... and decided just to yank out a tooth!

I said "DUDE - now the tooth fairy can come!"  
He said "Mom, I know it's you... can I just have $1??"
I busted out laughing and gave him $5 because it's funny... and it's the last tooth I'm paying for.
(yes, I already miss that.  Oh and he thinks it's disgusting that I saved his teeth!)



Then I saw his athletic career flash before my eyes...

He has to run a mile every week.  It was hard... but he survived



This is all going WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too fast!!

Sunday was church and time to serve. Alice screamed when she saw me. It was AWESOME. She's my best coffee buddy and I love her so much.

I took her to pick up Tristan in his class and again... she screamed bloody murder.  The boys all said "I didn't know you had a sister!!"
He just laughed and said "I don't"
and grabbed her hand and walked down the hall...

Heart. grew. two. sizes.

Her birthday is the same as G's and Holt's... and I serve that day sooooo - we WILL be having a little party for her in the coffee ministry!



gave all my girls sleep masks... and made all of the packaging out to be their camp name ... from Doodle.

Apparently, they wore them EVERYWHERE, all day. Even in car lines. LOL
Best $10 I ever spent!

and lastly in our funny little week...

T had to dress in cowboy gear.  He hates buttons so I did a white t-shit, bandana, jeans and a cowboy hat.  Driving down our street he yells.

"MOM!  THERE IS A LIZARD IN MY HAT!"

Sure enough, there was.  We pulled over, he freed it and told him to have a great day in the outdoors.

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Very cool all the history in this German town!! I told Tristan it was a "YES WEEKEND" and I would say yes to anything he asked (within reason) and he made the most of it! Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
