Weekend fun... yes we had some FUN!

Fun has been few and far between...

Had to pick up some groceries...



Then, we jumped in the car and headed to the Mays to do a diving party for Taylor's bday.

Hilarious moment... Grayson couldn't contain himself and he dove into our car.  Thought everyone was going to die.  I laughed... then he jumped back out.  THEY NEEDED TO SEE EACH OTHER.

After the train of 20+ cars, we headed back and took a few family photos...


then practiced better social distancing...


and celebrated across the lawn...



Then I had a few ZOOM calls...

one with my TYPOS girls


and one with the Ya Ya's


and then today, my Aunt and Uncle flew safely home to NY!  Counting every single blessing twice!!


Father protect us, we need a cure, we need help, we need YOU.

Thank you for the small stuff... that I so often miss.  Forgive me and give me eyes to see.  Amen.

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Very cool all the history in this German town!! I told Tristan it was a "YES WEEKEND" and I would say yes to anything he asked (within reason) and he made the most of it! Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
