Barber... PARTY OF FIVE...

Well, I clearly forgot how hard it is to have a puppy. I know he will be worth it!  I mean, look at this face!! (Not mine of course!) We drove 2 hours to meet up with Steve Quick.  He is the breeder we bought As and Simba from.  Still a great guy, laughed at stories - especially that we weren't having kids... and most likely not another ridgie.  I pull up with a kid, and drive off with my 3rd HUGE dog. Meet Trooper!  He drove 2 hours home and didn't make a peep.  Just the sweetest little boy! I think T might be in love... Baylor has been ok.  She isn't thrilled but she will get there.  She has tried to play with him (REALLY PLAY) twice and he was pretty scared. But he bounced back.  They have played tug and laid near each other and there hasn't been any food aggression so far, so that's good new. Look at that ridge people!  And that puppy is TWO months old.  God help me when he's 12 months!  He is going to be HUGE But there is ...

We escaped for two weeks... and boy was that needed

W e couldn't do much because of quarantine... but seeing my sister, Lee and Mom did much for us mentally. First, we got a new picture of Trooper- THAT was exciting! We could have done without the 13-hour drive... the way down, we stopped midway and camped... We woke up and hit the road again... after I stared at this cutie for a while.. We dropped Holt off at Hidden Ridge and headed to my sister's The Wookiee and I quickly became best friends! Baylor ended up meeting and LOVING her FUR COUSINS... Gave me hope that she will tolerate Trooper! We washed up Holt's nasty truck... And Tristan fell in love with Remmy - AKA - EL CHOMPO We swam a lot smiled  a lot Snuggled some and lost bets so Uncle Lee was forced to do Pilates... I got some good time with my boy and we picked on Grammy because she is about to be the shortest one in the family again! Uncle Lee invested in Tristan  BIG time!  Taught him a few chores... "He worked haaaaaaaaard for NO MONEY!" and played hard...

so nice to be appreciated ... but sad that my run as a room mom is over!

I needed different grass... and couldn't have been more thrilled when Tracy said G could come to the lakehouse for the night! I told the boys we'd have to find a turtle... Sure enough... driving into the neighborhood... there it was! We saved him!  G was pretty jazzed! they swam... and kayaked racing the whole time of course then we introduced new (gross) food... and then they just grabbed shovels and went for it! this lasted for quite some time... Ta Da! Felt bad making them clean it up.. but the neighbor is kind of a turd! Then G (Q-Tip) learned a little about driving a boat! Lots of tubing... and we fished! I caught one and he helped me get it off the hook! We packed a ton into 24 hours and they were pooped! Hope you come back G, I know it meant the world to T to have you there!!
