Shoulder Surgery.... CHECK!

Image
Well, that is what I looked like the last time I straightened my hair... and then Zach, Casey, Gabe, Theo, Jude and Remi Loyd walked into my house. Could have died... buuuuuut they wanted to meet Trooper, and then this is what they got.  They sat down in the back yard, played some darts and hung out.  That was humbling because I looked like that the entire time! hahahahaha! --------------------- Next day - surgery day! Tippi drove me to my surgery and checked me in.   7/16 - favorite day of every month!  That has to be a good omen! Then we went back and got ready! Oddly, I started getting nervous. Then, Leslie came in and my heart immediately calmed! Then her boyfriend Jeff sent this prayer and she read it over me.  I cried It was perfect and wonderful and I was ready! They injected my arm and next thing you know... I'm back! And I look like this! hahahahaha Not sure why I have an "x" marks the spot on my forehead! LOL Time to get dressed and go home! Let's...

Madison wrote me back!

On my way home... my Buffalo State Bengal girls... lead by none other than Tracy Poole called me from their happy hour! All I had to "cheers" with was T's empty root beer cup. I should have fake sipped it so I didn't' have bad luck! This card from Pleas is 100% Pleas towards me... but this took the cake. HUGE issue with travel screwing up his AA flight and missing his AA# so he signed the card with his # WE DIED LAUGHING! Then Tracy sent me BEST F*CKING FRIEND bracelet in Morse code! hahahahaha and the damn caramel creams!!! over 150 notes on Facebook and texts like these... But my favorite is my card to  JULIE From my BEST child. Well done T... well done. I even got a SNAP. But this one... she bought me lunch... bought me cupcakes and celebrated me big. It was a hard day for me but Deadra Berens... without you... I wouldn't have survived! And then the first thing on my desk... was the most thoughtful gift from Connie. Page after page of pictures and affirma...

We ran down memory lane again...
