Only to come home and get an Easter card from Grammy!!



and last but not least... our last bday sign for Emma Kate's 4th birthday drive-by tomorrow!


I'm no artist and I don't have any cute little girl bags but it's better than nothing!

Making the most out of these days... the struggle is REAL... but I'm thankful to be healthy and with my boy.. and seeing my friends when I can feeds my soul!!

But the greatest point of today ... is Good Friday.

What He did.  What He suffered and He would have done it JUST FOR ME.

I'm thankful, we need you badly Lord.  May I remember that He still sits on the throne, He is still very much in control and NONE of this surprised Him.  I trust you in ALL things Lord... even in this mess we are in and with all of the death and sadness... in YOU ALONE... I trust.

And I can't wait for Sunday... it's so screams... WE WIN!!!

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
