I'm exhausted BUT I had a great trip home. We all were chatting and saying how beautiful our home is and we just never noticed it.
Erica and Bill gifted us miles and that is the ONLY way this week was possible. Inflation, gas, etc. is making life VERY hard right now and a trip is a luxury we honestly cannot afford. So I thank the Boltz family from the bottom of my heart for allowing me much needed time with my family! And a big shout out to my Aunt Jeanne for lending us her car all week!
We made a quick trip to the lake. I didn't have my suit on so it wasn't as fun for T but he did a great job and only fell in once (brrrrrrrrr!)
Seriously so pretty!!
These are all out of order as usual... but we ran down to the Sherwood Inn on Thurs and spent time with Lisa and Thad. As always, my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard! Can't wait for our next trip to HotLanta!!
We arrived and had to drop Aunt Jeanne home... and we got to see Desi!! It's been a year and he's such a big boy now! Not sure if he remembered us but he sure acted like he did!
CUTEST PHOTO OF THE WEEK!!
Then the trip to Wegman's
We wore him out!
Sunday we went to breakfast with Kelly and Lee! I laughed and said "It's a Ross Invasion!" Won't see them for Christmas this year... so this was it!
Monday we went up to see Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Mike... so fun to be with my family!
Monday night T wasn't tired so we walked all over downtown. Only ones there... and we made it quick. Nothing good happens after midnight but we still explored!
Then Wed instead of going back to ROC to see Timmy play (boo hiss!) we went to Tom Thumb. I killed him in mini golf!
Does your miniature golf look like this? I think not....
Grammy watched and then they had yummy ice cream... the memories all came flooding back.
T went to Erica's and played on the water and with the Sedberry boys all day on Wed. My mom and I went shopping and I reorganized her house and cleaned up the best I could. I need to know my mama is safe and happy!! No pics, so Erica is grounded!
Thursday we picked Bumpa up and headed to Utica
This never gets old... Barber shop in the train station to pass the time!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL ABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOARD!
I bought first class tickets... so we had snacks.
Tristan bought about 10 snacks along the 2 hour trek...
We got to hang out in open cars and look around. It was awesome.
I even got my dad to smile!!
Beavers damned up the area and a ton of trees died off from no water.
It kind of looked like there had been a fire.
First stop, the arcade...
Then we left some cash off in some of the stores there. And my dad beat the tar out of Tristan in cornhole. Who knew!!!???
I sent a picture to Unkie of one of the Bears that is flipping you off. One said says welcome and one side says GO AWAY. hahahahahaha
My boy!
We chatted with the conductors and the engineer the whole way. At the end when we were switching tracks... they let us go in the caboose and watch. It was SO cool!
Thanks Tim!
Friday T didn't get to go to the lake, the boys were golfing. T instead got to come to me to Timmy Locastro's house... Don, Cripper, Colleen and Tracy and I all hung out. He tried to swim but of course, the water was FREEZING.
T tried on Timmy's championship rings. It was awesome!
Hated saying goodbye. I hate living so far. I hate not having enough money to go home more often. I hate that my mom can't fly here any more... ugh. BUT, I have to be thankful for what I do have. Fun memories and great times.
Final stop... YAYA night.
OH I LOVE THESE HUMANS!
Thank you God for making this trip possible. Thank you for me being humble enough to accept miles. Thank you that my friends and family are safe, happy and healthy!
Next stop... San Diego!!!
