So much to catch up on!

 It's hot here... someone do a welfare check.  Bought a pool for the dogs.  they like but someone else loves!


Someone had to study/take tests for days to get his boating license and he did it!  Got a 98!!



Off to the lake he went!

All the while I was home... fixing this!

Mind you, I should never, ever try and fix things because I hate reading directions. I watched a YouTube video and viola!  It's fixed!  Thank God it wasn't much!


Next thing you know... my child is a wakeboarder!  WHAAAAAAAT??

His 4th of July was excellent!


my 4th of July was spent with the Lanes.  They are so sweet to me and always include me in everything.  I'm so grateful!  And I love all of the little kiddos!

We decorated the golf cart and Riley, Emma Kate and Ellie all drove around in the parade!


It was hot as bananas and I sweat in places I wish I didn't!


The Mays then called because they were headed out of town and had a kitten they didn't know what to do with!

I immediately drove over and snagged the kitty!




Thankfully the day before my birthday we found her a home with Officer McNealy from Grace!!

Then for my birthday T wrote me this note on the back of another note he never gave me.  Oh mercy, I hope he cares more when he does things for his wife!


Grayson broke his thumb at our basketball game so instead of T's 1/2 birthday at Benihana, we bought food for her and Grayson and delivered.  



Debby took me to dinner for my birthday and it was such a nice time.  Sadly, mid dinner.. I lost my voice... and then proceeded to be sick ... for a week. Bronchitis, and attempts to become and ear and sinus infection!  I won thought!  Still coughing... so my lungs aren't happy but I tried!

One more game before we head to the lake and he got to play against his buddy Austin!  We lost by two but it was fun!

I boo'd at Austin and texted his dad, Jeff and told him I hope he lost.  We laughed and laughed!  It was a fun Friday!




Then this past weekend, T was allowed to bring two friends to the lake.  I hope Noah and Trent had fun.  We are burnt, we are exhausted... but we have some great memories and we are thankful!

Trooper dove in at one point to save Tristan on the wakeboard... quickly realizing that wasn't the best choice.  He gets points for trying and I love that HE LOVES to swim!!


Pooped!  Asleep at 9:30! Noah quickly followed but Trent rallied!

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
