Megan Maroney, Uncle Kracker, Zac Brown Band and Kenny Chesney - 2024 for the win!

 I have been dying to take Tristan to his first concert. And man, did I choose a great one!

We bought great seats and then Bill decided we were going to sit in the suite... so there were more boys that could come and some free food and drinks (which is nice!)

Megan Maroney... I lost a $20 bet that I still have to pay up! That weird little skirt stayed on all night - thought for sure she'd end up in those sparkly shorts

after Uncle Kracker came out it was (hubba hubba) Zac Brown Band - I didn't even recognize him! 


When they played When The Devil Came Down to Georgia (SO FAST) I was in awe. It was AMAZING!



THEY WERE BETTER THAN THE LAST TIME I SAW THEM!

The boys came up and ate (more than once)


and amused up by taking pictures!  They know who butters their bread!


Then Kenny came out and he was just as cute and smiley as ever.  He seems SO grateful for his fans!


Uncle Kracker came out and he was HAMMERED and it was hilarious. He could barely stand up


Kenny took over and ruled the roost!


We left after The Boys Of Fall and I was SO thankful he played that at Cowboy Stadium!

When I woke up - this beauty was graduating from college.  Can't wait to celebrate her at the end of the month!!

Heaven got LOUD on Sunday, I know Kimmie is so proud!!

Mother's Day T was sick and it was pouring rain so our service project canceled.  All in all - it was a stinky one but Saturday made it a great weekend!!

Well, I booked this trip for Spring Break of 2020 and Covid had other plans. I moved THREE time and prayed this weekend would stick - AND IT DID!!  We drove a long 5 hours to Fredericksburg, TX.  It's wine country but that's the last thing we had on our minds! I swear - I found this out AFTER I booked the house! look closer... and I was only looking for this! We only got in once for about 10 minutes... it was hot AND there were SO many bugs! We headed to dinner. It was HOT and we both had on bad shoes... the mile walk to and from Tubby's (gross food BTW) was not worth it.  LOL But then we say that we lived a few doors down from a jail. Day 7 and 8

Well, the first two pics are from a very hard Day 7 I sat here... and bawled.  Tristan and I had choice words about his eating. Well, not eating.  His snacking.  It didn't go well.  I'll leave it at that.  I sat here.  Bawling.  Crying out to God to save us. To heal our land.  I told Him all of the things I CANNOT do.  Well not in my own strength.  I told Him all of the places I NEED to move out of.  All of the insecurities I have. All the things I have fought SO hard for that I'm fearful He is asking me to just forget about. I'm scared of His "NO". I'm scared that I'm being corrected or chastised for all of the decisions I've made until now. That I've just messed it all up.  But then, I remember that I'm just not that powerful.
